Intro to printmaking classes have commenced. I am now bogged down with crazy of amounts of lithography and monotype homework. I do love learning new mediums though, Ive never seen anything as extensive and tedious as litho. My Teacher Carlos Cazares is a very informative and hilarious and has worked with litho for years. Looks like for the next two years or so..... ahah. I will be spending lots of time in the print lab and i will be wearing lots of black. Im wearing lots black ( Thats right, AGAIN!!) because you can rub up against anything in the print labs and get ink on you. Good News! More art work is on the way monotypes, lithography and lots of artistically narcissistic self-portrait charcoal drawings,

I think all of us on deviant are deeply grateful for groups. If you haven't tried it yet, jump into some unadulterated group action .

Ive been attending art school at Herron for several months now and Ive been eaten alive by all my projects. Art school has taken a toll on my hands and sleeping schedule. Making sculptures probably has to be the most challenging thing Ive done so far. I dont usually sleep before some critique days, its a good thing no sleep is second nature to working at a coffee shop ironically enough. My birthday is just a few weeks away. Finally the big 21, no more important birthdays, except 25 for insurance reasons. Just a few more weeks after my birthday, school lets out, and Im off to find another part-time job to pay the bills. My car has broken down once already this year and is slowly rusting to pieces with my door hanging on by its last latch. Its nice to be in art school though.

Summer was one of the craziest, adventurous, poorest, and the most eye opening summers of my life. IUPUI fell through after a long enduring communication breakdown between Ivytech and IUPUI(Herron) on the amount of credits needed. Now Im stuck attending one measly class at Ivytech this semester. Why just one class you say? One, because that's all I can afford and two, because I hate Ivy Tech with its impersonal, slightly smarter than middle school drop out student body and sub-par teachers. With all this free time on my hands I've been able to visit the Shed Aquarium, attend almost every art fair Indianapolis has to offer, engage in obscene amounts of mind altering substances, and do all other sorts of wonderful sinning activities. Not all my summer was spent partying. I did have time to paint, get a few showings at salons, an eye doctor, coffee shops, and one actual gallery. Things that still need to be accomplished, lots of commissions, stickers, t-shirts, tea pots, bags, the birth of a good friends deviant, and as always my need too stop creating possibly the longest run on sentences you can possibly right with disregard to proper sentence structure and the us of the comma.

So now Im 20 woot lol, my birthday was on Easter this year which is always funny because Im such a sinful bastard. Easter also did consist of the usual religious arguments with grandma while grandpa watches TV blissfully in the background. I have two pieces that still need to be put up, one of them is very large, the other small and cute (lame). The first piece some of you have seen from my blog, wait, maybe not because Im probably the only one who reads it XD. Lets just say its an orgy of color.
